- Botanical Name: Aglaonema
- Common Name(s): Chinese Evergreen 'First Diamond', Siam Snow White
- Description: The Chinese Evergreen also known as Aglaonema, it is an easy plant to grow and care for. Native to Asia it just about tolerates any indoor condition. The center of each leaf is spotted heavily with a mix of bright white and dark green patches. The edge of the leaves usually remain dark green making the brighter parts of the leaves pop!
- Peat based potting mix or soil mixture containing perlite.
- 60° F - 80° F. Thrives in humid environment.
- Bright, indirect sunlight is optimal.
- Keep soil moist, but not soggy. In the winter, allow soil to dry out between waterings.
- Feed your Chinese evergreen with slow-release pellets or liquid fertilizer twice a year, at the beginning and end of its growing season.
- Remove dead leaves.
- Yellowing leaves can be due to over or under watering. Make sure the soil is moist but not wet.
